On Friday, June 25th, 2022, everyone around the United States woke up to the final decision of the Supreme Court which was that Roe Versus Wade was overturned. This was a historic political event as this was the day women got their right to safe abortions revoked after gaining them for 50 plus years since January 22nd, 1973.
The protesters gathered at Washington Square Park at 6:30PM EST and then proceeded to march en route to Union Square Park on 14th Street.
Once arrived at Union Square Park, speakers and activists alike spoke to the amassed crowd sharing strong messages of personal stories and struggles
